Privacy Policy

Short version: The quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent to any server. We do not set tracking cookies. No email is required.

Legal Basis (GDPR Article 6)

All processing described below is based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for the purpose of delivering the quiz service, or on contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)) when you initiate a voluntary payment.

Cookies

We do not set any first-party cookies. Stripe may set a session cookie during payment checkout on their domain. You are not on our domain during payment; Stripe's Privacy Policy applies.

Third-party sub-processors

International transfers

Stripe and Vercel are US-based companies. Both provide Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as the transfer mechanism under GDPR Chapter V. No other international transfers occur.

Note: because quiz answers are stored only on your device, we have no server-side copy to retrieve or delete — clearing your browser's localStorage removes all quiz data instantly.

Terms of Service

Short version: tryinward is a free self-reflection tool. Payments are voluntary and non-refundable after the digital PDF is delivered. This is not a medical or clinical tool.

Nature of the service

tryinward (tryinward.app) is a self-reflection quiz that maps Jungian archetypes and cultural psychology dimensions onto relationship patterns. It is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only.

tryinward is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for professional psychological advice, therapy, or counselling. Do not use it to make clinical decisions.

Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service (GDPR minimum age, Netherlands).

Payments — "Pay What You Like"

Intellectual property

All quiz questions, archetype descriptions, cultural mappings, and generated reports are the intellectual property of tryinward. You may share your personal result for non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce, scrape, or re-sell the content.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, tryinward's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €10, whichever is higher.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in The Hague (rechtbank Den Haag), unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
